VINYL WALL COVERING CARE

Vinyl wall covering is a popular choice, both for it’s durability and looks. It is widely used in hospitals, retail and institutional environments.

This type of wall covering does not require a lot of maintenance and can be cleaned with all-purpose cleansers, mild soaps or bleach.

To remove ink stains or gum, isopropyl alcohol can be used. Blood, urine or other bacterial stains can be removed with a diluted mixture of bleach, provided it is applied right away to the stained area. These coverings may be cleaned with a soft-bristled brush, rinsed with clean water and dried with a clean cloth. Remember to always wash from the bottom up.

Vinyl wall coverings are generally resistant to fading and regular maintenance. Applying a stain resistant coating can improve the life of your covering and make cleaning easier.
